Had a burger for dinner. Literally just the burger. No bread, no cheese. I had some ketchup to dip it in, but that was all. Just burger.

Today we made our way to Galway. We took the scenic route, about a three and a half hour drive. Throughout the drive we stopped at Saint Patrick's Holy Mountain, the Famine Memorial, the Doolough Memorial, the Aasleagh Falls, and then the Galway Cathedral. We stopped in Leenaun for lunch, where we were also able to do some shopping.

In Galway, we had a lot of downtime where we could walk around and shop. I got some gifts for family and friends (shhh) and a claddaugh ring for myself. Technically, you're not supposed to buy a claddaugh for yourself, so Maggie and I switched bags and then "gifted" the rings to each other to cancel out any superstition.

Not a ridiculously eventful day, but a lovely one nonetheless.
